Binna Burra Mountain Lodge

This heritage listed mountain resort known as Binna Burra Mountain Lodge comprised forty cabins, a gorgeous restaurant, library and open plan reception where guests could enjoy a warm drink in front of the open fire after a day or bird watching or bush walking.

I had wanted to be involved in the makeover of this historic icon for over twenty years and then one day I was invited to put together some schemes to start the makeover!
We had done just six of the forty when the devastating bush fires of September 2019 totally destroyed this beautiful place.

Here are some before and after photos of my renovation of some of the cabins.
Hopefully one day soon, the beautiful Binna Burra Mountain Lodge nestled in the Lamington National Park (just behind the Gold Coast) will be re-built and we will once again enjoy the total beauty of this magnificent place
